This section explains our method of payment for visa services.

Visa fees can be paid by cash or bank cheque payable to the British High Commission. We accept payment in local currency.  Please note that there are no credit card or eftpos facilities available.  Once fees are paid and receipted they are non-refundable.

FCO consular rate: £1 = K4.5

Non Points Based System Fees

Transit including direct airside transit: £46 = K207

Single & multiple visits up to 6 months: £67 = K300

Longer term multiple visits up to 2 years: £215 = K968

Longer term multiple visits up to 5 years: £400 = K1,800

Longer term multiple visits up to 10 years: £ 500 = K2,250

Settlement/Spouse: £585 = K2,633

Certificate of entitlement to right of abode: £215 = K968

Transfer of existing visa to a new passport: £75 = K338

Points Based System Fees

Tier 1 -  General/Investors/Entrepreneurs: £675 = K3,038

Tier 2 - Sponsored Skilled workers: £265 = K1,193

Tier 4 - Students: £145 = K653

Tier 5 - Temporary workers: £125 = K563
