UK Border Agency and the British High Commission work in partnership to provide a visa service here in Papua New Guinea.

 

Where can I get advice?

Our visa section staff cannot give you advice on how to complete your application, or what type of visa you should apply for. If you need help with your application or advice about the UK's immigration rules and requirements, you should seek advice from a qualified immigration adviser. In the UK these are immigration advisers regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner or legally qualified professionals regulated by designated professional bodies. Their websites are:

How do I submit my application?

You can submit your application at the visa section of the British High Commission.  We are open at 8:00am to 4:00pm from Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 12:00pm on Friday.  The visa section will be closed on public holidays.

Note to Papua New Guinean citizens

Papua New Guinean citizens visiting the UK for a period of less than six (6) months do not need a visa.  However, visas for longer term categories such as student, working holidaymaker, employment and settlement are required.

For all other nationalities travelling to the UK please check the list of countries which require a visa prior to travel.
