Passport fees

You need to pay the correct fee in local currency when applying for your passport.

Methods of payment

We can accept cash payment in local currency.  Bank cheques are also accepted and should be made payable to the British High Commission.

Fees

The following fees are correct as of 21 October 2009 and are subject to change without notice. 

FCO consular rate: £1 = K4.5

Standard Passport (32 pages)

Frequent Traveller's Passport (48 pages)

GBP: £150.50

Child Passport

GBP: £79.50

Temporary Passport

GBP: £89

Emergency Passport

We only issue a temporary passport if other types of passport cannot be printed in time.

Additional fees

There is a call out fee for issuing a temporary or emergency passport outside of office hours. You will need to add this fee to the cost of the passport.

The rate is for every hour or part of an hour for each member of our staff (consular).

The maximum charge is £922 GBP or K4,149 PGK
