Services we provide

We issue standard passports through our regional office in Wellington, New Zealand.  Other facilities include emergency and temporary passports.  Application forms are free and can be collected during business hours or downloaded from this website.

Where to apply

Applications can be submitted personally, via courier, or through an authorised third party at our Port Moresby office.

08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday
08:00 – 12:00 Friday
The office will be closed during British High Commission public holidays.

What to submit

When applying you must submit the following:

• your completed application form
• two recent passport sized photographs
  
• relevant supporting documents
• your previous passport
• the correct fee

Processing your passport application

Processing time is viable between 4-6 weeks depending on the type of service you require.  

There may be delays if:

• your form is incomplete or the wrong one
• you provide incorrect fees
• you have not enclosed supporting documents
