“Yellow Ribbon for the Forces Week" will be held on the 24th to 31st March 2010 and is aimed at encouraging public support and recongnition of the British Armed Forces.

Voting in UK elections
A UK parliamentary general election must be held by 3rd June 2010 and could be called earlier at three weeks notice. To vote you need to be on the electoral register in the UK. Registration application forms for British Citizens living overseas and how to contact your local Electoral Registration Officer are now available here. Copies are also available at the British High Commission Reception. Application forms must arrive at your electoral registration office in the UK by 17.00 hours 11 working days before the day of the election. To have your say - don't delay, and register now !
